A fully local, privacy-first smart home — built by an engineer who got tired of his lights depending on someone else's servers.
OMEGA is my personal home automation project. No cloud. No subscriptions. No vendor lock-in. Just a Proxmox server in the corner, Home Assistant running on bare metal, and a growing network of local devices that work whether the internet is up or not.
